Penderyn Madeira Finish is a single malt Welsh whisky that has been finished in Madeira wine casks. The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, and the whisky is named after the nearby village of Penderyn.
The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.
Penderyn Madeira Finish is at the heart of the Penderyn range. A beautifully packaged Welsh whisky.
Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.
Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.
Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.

Not spiritie, no burn. Sweet and smooth! Very easy drinking!
Had the pleasure of tasting this with my gentleman welsh neighbour after I took around A glenlivit If $60 is average price it will be frequenting my liquor shelves The aroma was a little sweet and was pleasantly surprised that the alcohol volume balanced that 5 out of 5 for Value I will take off a $150 whiskey to make room for this one
Well, I've had a few bottles of this now. At £26 on special I couldn't refuse another. I'm no connoisseur but I do like my whiskeys. Laphraoig being my favourite, you can probably tell I'm not into the mainstream stuff! Anyway, Penderyn, what can I say? Hairspray? Yes I get that lol. If you let it stay in your mouth you'll get the hsirspray/nailvarnish remover effect. Personally,I like it to pool on my tongue and burn a hole in it. Great sweet stuff. Give your grandad a drop this Christmas At 46% watch him march around the room thinking he's still on his National Service!
Picked this up for £27, wanted to try a Welsh single malt. This is non-chill filtered and natural colour. The initial palate is super sweet, then the 46% ABV comes in to balance and it opens up into Sherry, raisins, fruitcake etc. A fantastic whisky for the price.
A fantastic whisky at a fantastic price! This is a smooth whisky throughout, smooth on the nose and on the palate. It’s a low smoke whisky and smoky whiskeys is something I’m not a fan on they hold back the true flavours of the malt and cask. Penderyn Madeira Finish is the smoothest single malt I have ever come across at a modest 46%abv. Compare this to a glenfiddich or glenlivet and it’s in a different league. Smooth from start to finish with no water needed. On the nose it’s hints of caramel and toffee with a long lasting smooth finish, on the palate I’m getting a rich oak taste leading to a very fresh clean finish with no aftertaste or burn. Absolutely fantastic! Gives a good ol’ scotch a run for its money!!
