
French single malt whisky made entirely from malted corn. Moon Harbour distillery is based in Bordeaux, so you can expect the region's great wine making history to work its way into the whisky, with this one maturing in sauternes casks before finishing in barrels from Bordeaux big hitters Château Cantenac-Brown winery. The whisky is bottled without added colour or chill filtration.
Dark berry notes, with some dried cherry and earthy blackberries, along with some festive spices.
Raisins and dried prunes, with a touch of treacle and toasted almond, along with oaky vanilla.
Lingering nutty finish.
