Lindores Abbey
Single Malt
Scotland
Master of Malt exclusive!
A single cask bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from the Lindores Abbey Distillery! This expression was drawn from a single Oloroso sherry seasoned butt cask from Miguel Martin, and bottled up at cask strength, a robust 59.6% ABV. If you've had the distillery's first release and liked what you tried (we were impressed with it, by the way), we highly recommend giving this one a go as well to get the full-on sherried Lindores Abbey experience. Plus, it's exclusive to us – you won't see this one anywhere else!
Marmalade, ginger, and Dark Chocolate Digestives merge with stewed plums, figs, caramel and hazelnut. Throughout there’s notes of condensed milk, foam bananas, apples, and a touch of marzipan.
The delivery is oily and thick with some cask strength heat that brings some baking spices along for the ride. More dark fruits appear with fresh herbs (peppermint), cherry, coffee cake, cacao powder, biscuits, orange rind, and black pepper in support.
There’s touches of cinnamon, lime marmalade, dried fruit, and some maltiness.

How...How can make this only in 3.7years !? This is best bottle for me ...so beautiful
Beautiful whisky, seems much older than what it actually is.would highly recommended this..definitely 5 stars from me
Tastes much older than its tender years, and has a honey and herbal note that is delicious. A good find Indeed!
Been a huge fan of these gust for years, and this particular release is definitely their best yet. Keep it up!
OK, so this was not what I was expecting....like, at all. Have you bottled up the wrong cask because I was expecting a youngish sherrybomb wannabe? To me it's like a certain 8 year old Irish cask strength favourite of mine, just with a slightly shorter finish. Will be doing some blind tasting with friends to see if they can spot the Irish. A well selected single cask. Will be getting more by hook or by crook...?
