Kentucky Owl Confiscated is a tribute to the barrels the government seized from the founder's great-great grandfather ahead of Prohibition, never to be seen again. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hints of peach, mature oak, earthy vanilla and tobacco, with sweeter vanilla and warming aromas of cardamom and baking spice.
Palate
Spicy oak, slightly drying with peaches and cream, cinnamon butter and crackers, with a smidge of red berry.
Finish
Herbal notes appear, supported by oak tannins and lots of spice, with cinnamon and nutmeg rounding things off.
