Terrific Kentucky bourbon, named for one of the more colourful character in whiskey history. Y'see, John E. Fitzgerald was a bonded treasury agent, one of the only people to carry keys to the storage warehouses. He was also something of a whiskey enthusiast, and didn't mind using the aforementioned keys to get at some of whiskey with the barrels inside the aforementioned storage warehouses.
The bourbon itself makes use of wheat, rather than the more commonly used rye, as the second grain, making for a mellow, creamy expression.
Brioche dipped in fruity coffee, cedar, a kick of aromatic coriander.
Buttered corn, molasses, malt loaf, slowly build Christmas spices.
Peppery at first, though soon enough the fruity coffee notes return and give it a sweet profile.

My new favourite bourbon after seeing it included within a drinks item on Sunday Brunch. Will be ordering again for Christmas. It currently being out of stock is a testament to its popularity.
Honestly think this a overrated. It has quite a strong ethanol odour and taste for such a low proof. Flavours are pretty muted and no complexity at all. It would be OK as a mixer but not a fan. I've seen good reviews of single barrels which I'd like to try but this isn't great.
If you like makers (I do) you will love this. It’s smoother and just more flavourful. Great value for money and competes well with the more expensive offerings. Love it.
Remarkable taste for a small price. I just hope that the barrel strength comes to sweden.
Color: amber nose: corn syrup, chocolate, fruity. Palate: viscous, oaky. Finish: long, oaky. Best with a bit of water.
