Inchgower 20 Year Old 1995 (cask 12302) - The First Editions (Hunter Laing)
An indie Inchgower here from Hunter Laing's First Editions range, which is meant to evoke the qualities of a rare book. This was distilled in 1995 and allowed to mature in a single Sherry butt until 2016, when it was bottled with a small outturn of 276 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Runny honey, stewed plum and peach, a light tough of gingerbread biscuits.
Palate
More ginger, now with a little cinnamon in tow. Fruity gummy sweets and a few squares of dark chocolate.
Finish
Prickly oak and juicy raisins last.
