Glengoyne 10 Year Old 2007 (cask 11754) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
Independently bottled single malt from Glengoyne, aged in a single refill hogshead for a decade - from April 2007 to May 2017. Following that, it was bottled for the Provenance range with just 335 bottles produced. An uncharacteristically un-Sherried Glengoyne, though very tasty never-the-less.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla pod, honey'd barley and a hint of porridge (with brown sugar, obviously).
Palate
A laid-back dram, with waves of soft barley and heavy cream. A hint of fresh cardamom.
Finish
Toffee and a subtle suggestion of treacle tart.
