Thin, peppery, sour, barely drinkable
I was looking forward to trying a dram of this as some of the bottlings of Glenburgie from G&M amongst others have been very good from this rather underrated distillery. However this was a disappointment! Although zesty with some fruit it was also very spirity and peppery. It may be that Glenburgie needs more time to mature or that this was just a poor cask. But whatever the reason this is not one to savour or remember fondly. Pity!
