A single cask indie Glen Moray here, distilled in 1994. The Speysider spent a quarter of a century resting in a refill hogshead, until Hunter Laing bottled it up for its First Editions series. A limited 339 bottles were released at a generous 54.6% ABV, full of that gentle Speyside sweetness.
Barley sugar, vanilla sweetness and stewed apple, along with chocolate-coated honeycomb.
Chocolate-dipped strawberries, with summer berry sweetness and hints of dried herbs.
A drizzle of buttery caramel lingers alongside white pepper spice.
