We're in Islay here with this addition to the Hepburn's Choice range of independent bottlings, showcasing the character of each of the Scottish whisky regions. This single cask single malt from Caol Ila was distilled in 2011 and matured for 11 years in a sherry butt. 707 bottles were drawn in 2022, without chill-filtration or added colour.
Lapsang souchong tea, with some notes of grilled peaches and dried apricot.
Warming bonfire smoke, with milk chocolate, toasted almonds, and spiced fruit cake.
Ashy smoke, and winter spices.
