Bruichladdich 9 #R18/324 Bottling Note

An indie Bruichladdich single malt Scotch whisky, bottled up by the Artful Dodger folks. This expression was distilled back in 2009, and bottled up 9 years later at cask strength - an intense 64.2% ABV. This expression was drawn from a Rivesaltes wine cask, which has imparted some spicy fruit notes, which work wonderfully with Bruichladdich's spirit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sum-soaked dried fruit, forest floor and a touch of chocolate.

Palate: Raisin, dried peels and candied ginger, with a subtle salinity offering a tasty juxtaposition.

Finish: Spicy clove and ginger, with yellow plum in support.

Toffee goodness

Dam fine cask strength whisky, with a sweet palate of toffee based goodness. Recommended for those that like a full flavour dram
