This is yet another delicious cask-strength bourbon from those wonderful Blanton's chaps. Released as part of their Straight From The Barrel range, this bourbon was drawn from cask #891 and bottled at a full-on strength of 63.4% ABV.
Please Note: Unfortunately, the gold wax atop these Straight From The Barrel bottlings is currently prone to cracking. We're informed that this should be a short term problem, but please be aware when purchasing this tasty bourbon. (Don't worry, the delicious liquid inside won't be affected!)
Chewy caramel, barrel char, waxy fruit and peppery spice. Enjoyably oily at times.
