    Splendid Speyside single malt Scotch from Benrinnes, distilled in 2013 and matured for eight years in a single sherry butt. In 2022, the cask was opened by independent bottler Douglas Laing, releasing a total of 858 bottles of this whisky for its Provenance collection.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Fresh apples, pears, and plums, followed by melted butter and honey on sourdough.

    Palate

    Creamy vanilla and stewed stone fruits take the lead, with buttered shortbread and biscuity malt in tow.

    Finish

    Fresh pastries, flaked almonds, vanilla fudge, and a touch of vegetal, oaken spice.
