Another brilliant Benrinnes from Signatory, this Speysider was distilled in 1996. It rested in a single hogshead cask for nearly a quarter of a century, and was eventually bottled in March 2020 after 23 years of slumber. A limited 287 bottles were released for the Cask Strength Collection at 52.6% ABV.
Chocolate praline and banana pancakes with a good dose of baking spice.
Sultana and orange blossom alongside chocolate digestives and waxy vanilla.
Fresh, sweet malt and spicy oak linger, with a touch of citrus curd.
