This is a 20 year old Benrinnes single malt, drawn from one refill hogshead which housed the whisky from April 1996 to June 2016. This has been bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range, with 273 bottles produced.
Dried apricot, biscuits and a scoop of vanilla ice cream (with chocolate sauce, of course).
Spice starts to pick up on the palate with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Fresh fruit keeps it sweet - bundles of juicy oranges ahoy!
Caramel and some sliced red apple notes.
