Stunning stuff from Speyside's Balmenach distillery, this single malt spent a whopping 40 years in a single cask between 1979 and 2019. The cask was cracked open by Hunter Laing, releasing a total of 174 cask-strength bottles for its Old & Rare Platinum series.
