Bourbon
An intriguing 8 year old Ardmore single malt, independently bottled by Signatory. It was distilled in October 2009 and according to the label was aged in "bourbon barrels after Islay", which presumably means they previously held Islay whisky. Following maturation, the whisky was bottled in February 2018 without any chill-filtration or additional colours.
Earthy smoke and vanilla pod, blending well with soft nectarine sweetness.
Buttery malt juxtaposed by smoke and spice. A hint of sultana.
Flamed orange peel, peppery rye.
