Distilled on the 2nd October 1990 and aged in hogshead number 101779 for 20 years, this single cask Aberlour was bottled by Signatory for their Cask Strength Collection on the 15th September 2011. A release of 257 numbered bottles.
Tangy and sweet with morello cherries, cocoa, dried fruits and star anise. A little toffee apple and vanilla sweetness, as well as cigar boxes and rolling tobacco.
Intense and very fruity with dark chocolate, sultanas, dates and banana loaf. A hint of gunpowder, wet pebbles on the beach and mince pies.
Long and sweet, with creamy notes of Chantilly cream and spice.
