This expression was matured in a combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, bourbon, and virgin oak casks and is positively brimming with rich fruit and subtle spice. Creamy malt with diced nuts, caramel crystalised fruit, dates, and prunes.
Vanilla and toffee cross zesty orange peel, heaps of sherried sultanas, and dried fruits. A gentle spice picks up with clove, earthy coffee, and extra dark chocolate, studded with nuts.
The creamy texture prevails, vanilla fudge, darker notes of berries and cherries, sherried fruit cake, soft barley spice.
Not a harsh whisky its a nice warm feeling not over powered but strong warms the throat nice though more a sipping whisky I thought a nice bottle for the price and well worth a wee later on keep sake
f you are looking for a good easy drinking Single Malt, this is very good especially at the cost.
Got this in Tesco for £20 a while ago & malty but not worth buying at £27+ when not on offer Good for a new whisky but needs to go a long way to compete with the Scottish fraternity
A little while since I have had this. Not a subtle taste but easy drinking whisky. Good whisky for a person to try if new to whisky.
Bile and old laundry on the nose. Bit of almonds and vanilla. Do not buy this u less it is on a mega sale.
