An English vermouth from Suffolk here, this Rosso expression from Agora is packed with fragrant botanicals like rose, lavender, vanilla, anise and cassia! It's a fairly spice-forward bottling, so we reckon it would be right at home in a Manhattan.
Cassia and anise at the fore, with vinous red fruit, woody spice and touches of menthol.

Great for cocktails, especially for summer mixes. A great bitterness/sweetness balance, which went great in a Negroni and Manhattan, bringing a herbal and spicy flavour. Very refreshing with just ice and a slice of orange. Will buy again
I really liked this. It had a bittersweet balance without being too sickly sweet like others. I got loads of dark cherry, anise, cinnamon and spice. I drank it on ice with orange peel and in a negroni - yumm.
Delivering a great whack of menthol and pepper, this is a dinstictly medicinal take on vermouth. For me it lacked the sweet / bitter appeal that I crave. Not for everyone!
You can tell this vermouth is made by a real vermouth fan! Not too sweet, not too bitter, with a real depth of flavour! Love the rich cherry flavour and warming spices. It has really upped my Manhattan game, though I really drinking it straight on its own too. Delicious!
This is a fantastic vermouth for sipping simply on ice. Very different from other sweeter rosso vermouths which are used only for cocktails. Put a bottle of this one in your wine fridge as well as your cocktail cabinet.
