Mexico meets Scotland in Storywood Tequila, which sees the agave-based spirit matured in casks that previously held single malt Scotch whisky. This is the reposado expression, featuring 100% blue weber agave spirit aged in casks from Dufftown in Speyside for seven months.
Butterscotch and caramel, with plenty of earthy agave alongside helpings of chopped nuts and sultanas.
Tried many of the Storywood range and I love this Reposado on the rocks. Trying the Sherry Cask as soon as you get it back in stock.
