The folks over at The Helsinki Distilling Co. have certainly been busy with this intriguing spirit! Tyrnipontikka is made from the pomace of sea buckthorn berries, left over from producing Tyrni-Gin Likööri, and this is fermented and distilled. It's wonderful as a digestif, or can be used to add a fruity element to cocktails.
Gentle on the palate, with both sweet and sour berries, an aromatic fruity tang leading into a long and satisfying finish.
Refreshing, pure and smooth.
