Harveys Bristol Cream is a classic aperitif sherry, best serves very cold. Offers nutty, raisin notes.
Agree with other comments especially as my wife cut her finger on the screw top. Harveys Bristol Cream is no longer special and Harveys have ruined the perfect aperitif. Any suggestions of a good quality replacement?
The old label was attention grabbing, the new label is uninspiring like the liquid contained within the bottle, this is not the great sherry that Harveys Bristol Cream used to produce but a very poor cheaper version. No longer the go to sherry for special occasions or an aperitif to enjoy any time. Harveys please bring back the original sherry and get rid of this substandard imitation.
Harvey’s used to be my go to before dinner aperitif. The white labeled, corked bottle has not only been cheapened by a screw cap, but the product has been watered down as well. Drink it over ice ? Craziest thing I’ve ever heard of, tried it, did not enjoy. C’est la vie !
Oh ! Harveys, what have you done ? Ruination, dreadful, how could you spoil such a perfect sherry ?
It used to be the best Sherry I ever knew. Drank it all the time going back to the early 60s. Now with the cheap screwtop and reformulated wine, it tastes like cheap wine with a disgusting after taste. Very disappointing. The screwtop says it all!
