It's a classic taste.. my step-grandmother recieved a bottle every year for decades from a life-long friend. I keep a bottle around at all times, and share a glass very deliberately when with good friends. For its price point, it's very enjoyable. For some reason, I do enjoy it more in the cooler months or around the holidays. Great dessert wine.
This have been my go to drink for all occasions at any time of day. I have been drinking Harvey' Bristol Cream for 47 years. I also drink Champagne and Cognacs, vsop's, but XO is the one I like best, Remy Martin is my brand. When ever I am invited by my friends, there is always a bottle of Harvey's and I get to take it home. I visits friends in N.Y. Every year for my birthday, and where I stay is always waiting for me is a bottle of Harvey's and chocolates. If you like pies or cakes, then you should love Harvey's. So smooth with lemon on lime slices. Goooooood drink.
I love a small glass of this stuff after a tough day. There is something wonderfully nostalgic about it. It has a smooth, slightly sweet taste. And it has just enough of a kick to remind you it's for the mature adults. Let the kids keep their drinks. This is for the rest of us. The ones who believe having a drink is meant for more than the act of drinking itself.
