Harveys Bristol Cream is a classic aperitif sherry, best serves very cold. Offers nutty, raisin notes.

I think the metal cap on the 1litre bottle is dangerous. My wife has just cut her finger open as the cap has metal spikes sticking out when twisted to open. Unable to find out where to report as nothing on web site to give information.
I love Harvey's Bristol Cream, yet also find it extremely frustrating to open. It is dangerous with scissors or a knife, too difficult and takes so long that I definitely need a drink once it's finally opened. Other than that,'it's perfect! So delicious.
Love the Bristol Cream BUT I find opening the bottle very, very difficult. The perforations are not deep enough in the foil covering on the cap. I always have to use a knife to cut round the perforations....which of course can be dangerous. A pity.
I think that Harveys Amontillado is better suited as an aperitif - a delightful medium dry sherry that does a perfect job of stimulating the appetite before a meal.
