A rich, syrupy Pedro Ximénez from Gutierrez Colosia. Like boiled down date and walnut cake, this stuff is absolutely divine.

Like a previous reviewer, I love Sherried Brandies, Rum and Whisky’s, so I had to try the real thing. Like drinking a Christmas pudding, sweet, but not too sweet, you always feel sad when your glass is empty. I also tried putting 2 Teaspoons of this Sherry into a cheap(ish) shop brought Whisky, and it raised the Whisky to a new level. It works in Brandy too, but not Rum. This Sherry is already on my list to re-order, it is that good.
I love Pedro Ximénez as a whisky finish so had to try the actual drink, this was my first bottle. I was a little worried as I don't like sweet drinks but I was pleasantly surprised. It is syrupy with a honey sweetness rather than a sugar sweetness. Amazing amount of flavor too. The best Sherry I have tried.
Beautiful Sherry
Can you please tell me what is the difference between this one and one from Sainsburys 12 year old sweet Pedro ximenez £ 8.00. to be used in a xmas Pudding recipe. Just curious, no doubt this one from you has to be superior.
I was blown away by this PX. My entire party agreed that this tastes like fruit cake. Lovely sultanas and a subtle nutty hint also. Great for fans of Glendronach or Aberlour.
