Banana and peanut butter – an age-old (and delicious) combination. Now, the folks behind Wooden Moose have put it into its spiced rum! Made with a base of Guyanese rum, it's rich, nutty, and subtly sweet. We can't wait to see the cocktails you're going to make with this...
Peanut butter and fried, caramelised banana are centre stage (as promised), with a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon in support.

Drank neat, you immediately experience a sugary hit, which unfortunately neither tastes of caramelised banana nor peanut butter. Just a generic sweetness that is virtually impossible to describe. This is then followed by quite an intense alcohol burn. However, it’s not all bad news with this rum, because thankfully it does improve with Coca-Cola. Mixed with coke this rum definitely calms down, with the alcohol burn all but disappearing. The aroma becomes distinctly more banana and the rum ends up tasting like burnt, sorry my bad, caramelised banana. But what about the peanut butter I hear you ask? Very good question. I’ve no idea where that went, but it’s very much conspicuous by its absence.
This product has a cult following in my pub, sell loads of it! Really unique and interesting flavour, great with Coke
