Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
St Vincent Distillers Ltd
Yes
An extremely high strength rum from Saint Vincent. This is distilled from molasses in a column still.
Brown sugar, marzipan, coconut ice and stem ginger.
Quite dry with more candied ginger at the fore. Hot cross buns with butter, tropical fruit.
Very long, with hints of cocoa powder and grilled pineapple.

Being very lucky staying in a remote part of Vincy with an islander and his family and friends (where this rum is around 5 dollars a bottle) I had time to appreciate and develop a healthy respect for the spirit. Their is a light taste of molasses but no real 'burnt' flavour which is fantastic. Its too strong to drink neat but is delicious with most mixers never overpowering them In excess its dangerous. Seasoned hard drinkers beware.. I am not one btw but underestimating the deceptively tasty Sunset is a fools game.
Its is the best rum ever.
I loved my delivery sunset room brought it last year for Christmas had a blast making black cake with it .
Bought this back in November for a friends birthday, had everyone doing a shot upon entry & yeah this rum really bun up ya chest and does the trick. Just be ready for the wave you about to be on ??♂️?
Lovely I use this to make my.punch de creme.
