It's the very first vintage release from Chairman's Reserve! This 2005 vintage is a blend of two rums from St Lucia Distillers, from both the John Dore pot still and a coffey column still. The spirits were aged separately for four years before they were vatted together and aged for another 10 years. The limited release was bottled up at 46% ABV, packed full of flavour.
Please note: Because of a packaging error, all bottles and boxes show the same cask number and bottle number, so we don't know the number of bottles released. Rest assured, the tasty liquid within each bottle is still drawn from a single cask!
Treacle, spice fruit compote, vanilla ice cream and fried dough.
Dried apricot and rum-soaked sultanas, a hint of sherry vinegar brightness, cigar box and mature oak.
A slow build of black pepper and clove, underneath layers of caramel.

The ageing of this rum has added a really balance to the juice… I’m usually a big 4SQ fan but am very happy sipping this… good quality rum at a decent price…
Stunning, packed with flavour
