RedLeg is a superb spiced rum made with Caribbean spirit which was aged in old oak whilst being infused with Jamaican vanilla and ginger. Just superb and very good on a crisp Winter's evening!
Custard apples and cinnamon. Lovely, inviting ginger notes. Very spicy.
Good level of sweetness with gingerbread and hints of black pepper. Sweet, creamy vanilla.
Long, spiced finish. Stem ginger in syrup.
Both the vanilla and the pineapple are outstanding. Red Leg is superb, excellent value for money too and for me the best spiced rum on the market sub £30.
Another one i tried which is a decent buy, its flavor combinations goes well and its not bad mixed with a fiery ginger beer but not my favorite spiced rum Worth remembering we all have different palates and tastes
Very cheap spiced rum. Not great neat, but perfect if you're mixing with coke/ginger beer.
Didn't like this rum at all. Wasn't until I bought it from Morrisons, I realised it said "Spiced Rum Spirit Drink" at the bottom of the label. Which, I don't know if that means anything, but I have not seen this part on the label elsewhere. Anyway... I'm very disappointed. It has absolutely no redeeming qualities. Very poor in comparrison to my usual Havana Club and Kraken choices. I can't taste any vanilla or ginger - all I can taste is alcohol. Might as well have bought a bottle of meths. Nearly as bad as Captain Morgan.
Lovely rum, by far my favourite and at a great price to. Easily the best rum i have tryed. Goes down very easy and for myself personally the perfect anount of spice/flavour. Not overpowering but you can tatse it. 10/10 from me.
