RedLeg is a superb spiced rum made with Caribbean spirit which was aged in old oak whilst being infused with Jamaican vanilla and ginger. Just superb and very good on a crisp Winter's evening!
Custard apples and cinnamon. Lovely, inviting ginger notes. Very spicy.
Good level of sweetness with gingerbread and hints of black pepper. Sweet, creamy vanilla.
Long, spiced finish. Stem ginger in syrup.

Kraken was always my favourite but Red Leg beats it. Very smooth and great with a shot of cola.
Another spiced rum that I've seen in quite a few pubs recently, Red Leg is a funny one for me. It's the only spiced rum that doesn't seem to mix well with coke. Dump a few measures in a pint glass of ginger beer and ice however and you have the perfect drink for a summer afternoon.
Of all of this type of spiced rum, Morgan's, Sailor Jerry, The Kraken and suchlike that are found on most supermarket shelves, this is in my opinion easily the best of the bunch.
This has given me a reason to start drinking again. Absolutely love it with coke and lime or ginger beer and pineapple.
Beautiful rum. the light spice and vanilla flavour makes this an impressive rum easily best in its price category. £17 for 70cl at the moment in UK supermarkets.
