The Pusser's Rum collection has had a bit of a revamp. While their Blue Label is still made with the exact same blend of rums - a recipe from the Admiralty - it is now bottled at 40% abv rather that 54.5% abv. The reasoning behind this, is it allows Pusser's to be distributed to Naval bases, where the maximum allowed strength is 40%.
If you're looking for the original 54.5% version, then fear not! It has now been rebranded as Pusser's 'Gunpowder Proof' Black Label.

This is a great rum, providing you prefer a lower alcohol percentage which suit me. The delivery is fantastic often the following day after ordering. The company is very professionally run I have been dealing with them for many years.

I've only had Pussers Rum once before in an extremely limited edition ceramic bottle! However, I decided to 'give it another go', and am thoroughly enjoying it!
Blue label is by far one of the best rums.Loved it when in the Navy and still drink it to this day none of the others really compare, when you are used to the best why change it, unless it's gunpowder proof, but it's getting rather dear nowadays.
