
Cinnabar Spiced Rum is made with the Portsmouth Distillery's very own rum, with a selection of spices added in the second distillation. Following that, it's sweetened with Costa Rican sugar syrup and a touch of vanilla. The name comes from the Cinnabar moth, which enjoy flying around Fort Cumberland.
Soft cinnamon, brown sugar, a hint of cut grass spiciness, orange and lemon, old fashioned cola cubes.

Being from Portsmouth and an avid rum drinker I thought I'd give the local distillery a try. Unfortunately the cinnamon was a little too over powering for my palate and I couldn't get any other flavours coming through.
