A blend of aged rums, matured in bourbon barrels before undergoing filtration. This is a continuous-still rum from Trinidad and Tobago's famed Angostura company.
Offers golden syrup and black treacle. Some cocoa, spices. Bourbon smoke, char, vanilla.
Dark chocolate, burnt sugar. Tiramisu. Creamy.
Crème brûlée and custard, a little cocoa and coffee, a hint of tar.

A great rum for what it costs. Good on its own (or with ice) and great in a cocktail. The first bottle in my basket every time.
Coffee and smoke and a little bit of spice from the bourbon barrels, very palatable as a whisky drinker. Almost makes you forget it's rum! Goes down easy over ice. Top Notch.
Excellent rum
I keep buying this rum simply because it is exceptional as a mixer, in particular with Coke Zero - it really makes a fantastic Cuba LIbre. You must try it!
For the money this is my absolute favourite for mixing with fruit Juices - just phenomenal - always have it in the cupboard - will now never be without it.
