
This glorious unaged Mezcal from El Rey Zapoteco focuses on the Espadín agave, harvested from its own plantations! The Mezcal is made using traditional methods such as cooking the agave on a wood fire in a stone oven and crushing it with a horse-drawn tahona wheel. With a soft character and plenty of sweet, floral notes, this is ideal for sipping, and would go great mixed with grapefruit soda too!
Subtly soft vegetal notes develop into sweet floral honey, with a touch of pepper and gentle smoke in the background.
