Well this is unusual and most exciting - American whiskey infused with peanut butter! Sheep Dogs are cool too, especially the one which adopted a pig and helped it herd sheep in the classic '90s film, Babe. This liqueur is a wonderful choice for anyone who enjoys a nutty treat, glorious sipped neat over ice, but will also add unique character to cocktails. A peanut butter Old Fashioned perhaps?

I don't usually write negative reviews, because, even if a drink isn't to my taste, I recognise that it's the product of someone's vision and effort, and other people might like it, even if I don't. I make an exception here because simple human compassion makes one want to spare others the consequences of one's own mistakes. I bought this stuff because I love peanut butter, and I love American whiskey. This tastes like neither. What it does taste like is artificial butter-popcorn flavour swirled with corn syrup and sick. It coats the mouth in a way that brings to mind stricken seabirds after an oil spill. It's ghastly. Vile. Beyond forgiveness. I have never been more personally angry at a beverage. It's mystifying to me that something this awful ever made it to market. Consumers should not buy it, and Masters of Malt should not sell it. To be clear, the rating is zero stars not because I forgot to rate it, but because the rating is zero stars. Because this stuff is awful.
