Well big-time vermouth producer Martini have done it again, however this time they've produced a vermouth flavoured with citrus and blood oranges. Now that's pretty cool!
Want to find out more? We took a closer look at Martini Fiero over on the blog.
The vermouth is still present but with a big orangey aroma lying on top.
The palate is fresh and zingy with big notes of citrus zest.
The finish is dry with notes of fresh orange segments.

So I saw a bottle in my local cocktail bar and asked the bartender what the sketch was, he poured me a splash and - once I'd tried it - told me it was spectacular with whiskey. I could see that, I thought, but I still imagined it as an Aperol-esque base for a summery spritz or fizz. I've been sticking a hefty slug of Angostura's incredibly orangey orange bitters into citrussy G&Ts as a summer drink, so I thought I'd bag myself a bottle and serve as recommended with tonic. Obviously it's perfect, but the whiskey story? Yeah, he was right. Make a Manhattan with it (bourbon based, not rye - it suits the sweetness), making sure you remember your aromatic bitters, and you've got something magical. If you want a Manhattan, that ain't it, but if you think of it as a Manhattan that's been hanging out with a classically-garnished Old Fashioned (or vice versa)...ooh, hallelujah.
Amazing drink! It combines together all the good parts of campari and aperol, resulting in a perfect balance between swiftness and bitterness. I didn't even need the tonic to enjoy it!
Martini Extra Dry is my favourite drink. I enjoyed Aperol on holiday recently and when I discovered Martini Fiero it was a must try. Absolutely love the taste - not too sweet with lovely zingy flavours.
Fabulous prefer this to Aperol definitely my new summer drink great with tonic
Martini Fiero is my new favorite for a refreshing, beautifully colored and just the right balance of bitter, sweet and bubbles. I like it with soda water (club soda), my friends prefer tonic.
