A refreshing French Pastis from Jean Boyer, made with a lively selection of herbs and spices resulting in a sweet flavour profile with anise, almond and vanilla notes in spades. Great for long drinks of warm summer afternoons.

The best Pastis I have ever drunk so far (and I have tasted many of them). It has much more flavours than the regular “Pastis 51” by Ricard, and it is not sweet (like a Pernod). A very balanced aroma and taste. Anise and liquorice flavours are not overwhelming – there is room for the many other herbals used in the bottle. It can be served traditionally (i.e. one volume of Pastis for five volume of water). Or it can be served on the rocks as a spirit, with a couple of large ice cubes.
