This goes so well with crème de cacao or coffee liqueurs (with optional cream and a vodka or white rum base), but the drink has a wonderful distinctive banana aroma and flavour in its own right making it great with a couple of lumps of ice and consumed neat! The alcohol content is substantially higher than in the Bols or De Kuyper versions which, I am guessing, keeps the product stable over a longer period and helps preserve its special flavour.
