Drambuie
Drambuie is a very famous whisky liqueur made with Scotch whisky, heather and herbs and spices. Produced in West Lothian, Scotland, Drambuie offers flavours such as anise, nutmeg and saffron.
Drambuie has a long history dating back to the 18th century when it was first created in Scotland.
Drambuie is often enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but can also be used in cocktails. It is a versatile liqueur that can be enjoyed in many ways.

I have never tasted Drambuie before. That means I've lived 60 + years without knowing how good it is. Time to catch up.
As mentioned already this is the perfect liqueur for whisky drinkers. Mix 1 part to 2 parts scotch for a Rusty Nail - a simple but brilliant whisky cocktail.
ive seen bottles 1960 being sold for around #150 - #200 thought that might help.
Loved this when I was a kid, but I grew up and now drink Lochan Ora instead-it's WAY,WAY,WAY better-TRY IT!!!! (Glayva isn't too bad a drop either)
When my husband and I were first together we sipped Drambuie on the rocks. We were sitting in a hot tub looking out the bay windows as the snow fell in the resort at Angel Fire, NM. It has been 27 years and I still enjoy this drink. Maybe one day - we can return to that same place in AF and create a new memory !
