    Drambuie

    Drambuie

Drambuie is a very famous whisky liqueur made with Scotch whisky, heather and herbs and spices. Produced in West Lothian, Scotland, Drambuie offers flavours such as anise, nutmeg and saffron.

Drambuie has a long history dating back to the 18th century when it was first created in Scotland.

Drambuie is often enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but can also be used in cocktails. It is a versatile liqueur that can be enjoyed in many ways.

    No Use

Both my wife and I love Drambuie. We are both disabled and the design of the new bottle is awful. We find it difficult to get open as they have changed it to a cork. The other bottle was far easier to open. We find, eventually when you do manage to get it open, and pour a drink, Drambuie drips down the side of the bottle. We are putting this down to the new design of the bottle and I believe this is a replica of the first Drambuie bottle. Drambuie should go back to the previous bottle. I did contact the people who make Drambuie to let them know the problems with the new bottle we have been experiencing but no reply. Yours Sincerely, Mr John Keenan.

Freshly bought bottle a BIG disapointment

Compared side by side, our previous bottle was the perfect, iconic, unique drink. The new one - syrupy sweet and not a patch on the other. Will never buy it again. Drambiue used to be a lot more special

    Absolute rubbish

Why show such contempt towards your drinkers

    What has happened to Drambuie!

New label, new bottle, ? Traditional stopper (mimicking 1960's) - quality poor, thin, too sweet. I worked in Easter Road, Edinburgh Drambuie bottling plant a very long time ago and developed a taste for beautiful full flavoured drink. I do not recognise this new product, trying to purchase as many of clear screw-top bottles as possible!

    An unpleasant discovery !!!

Having enjoyed Drambuie and occasionally Glayva as an after dinner tipple for many years, I stopped for a while due to my new wife being a non drinker, anyway, last week I saw Drambuie in the shop and thought I'd buy a bottle., hesitantly though, as it looked cheap in its clear glass bottle, and of course, this once premium drink has been cheapened. The whisky was harsh and rough, and the sweetness was less and the taste of honey was almost gone. Disgusting in fact. How can this drink be sold as a premium product ? when it no longer such, sorry for the blurb, I just hate being ripped off. Still there is always Glayva to look forward to.
