From Dr Adam Elmegirab comes a superbly rich coffee liqueur, Pietro Nicola Caffè Margaux! Inspired by Italy's drinking culture, to create the spirit green Ethiopian coffee beans are first aged in an oak barrel which previously held both both bourbon and porter, soaking up all those flavours. The beans are then roasted and macerated in neutral grain spirit for at least two weeks, before a dash of Demerara sugar is added before bottling. At 30% ABV it's more than sippable neat, though will add a good punch to cocktails as well!
Bittersweet dark chocolate and oodles of roasted coffee bean, with a hint of creamy nuttiness, dark berry jam and espresso.

Delicious coffee spirit. Lovely to sip after dinner and makes delicious iced coffee and cocktails. Love the fact that this is not overly sweet which for me allows the flavours to come to the fore.
