Chartreuse Yellow
A sweet and spicy liqueur, Chartreuse Yellow is somewhat milder than the Green variant. There's many unique things about this tipple, not least that it's made by Carthusian Monks, who were given the recipe all the way back in 1605. What's more, the flavour and colour are completely natural, derived from the 130 herbs and plants used. This bottling is presented at 43% ABV.

Nose
Liquorice root, hints of green herbs, a little black pepper and grape skins.
Palate
Creamy, floral palate. Black pepper brings warmth, with a superb herbal, spicy complexity from lavender, fennel seed and cinnamon.
Finish
Sweet, herbal finish.
