Casoni
Marian Beke has experience making delicious savoury drinks, just look at his work with Copperhead Gin! This time he partnered with Italian producer Casoni to make a liqueur with locally sourced figs and cherries, as well as balsamic vinegar of Modena, inspired by the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna.
It's fabulous instead of a Heering Cherry in a Blood & Sand cocktail (just add Scotch whisky, sweet vermouth, orange juice and this liqueur).
Rich fruit with a touch of tartness, balanced by slightly funky balsamic.
