A South African cream liqueur distilled from the fruit of the Marula tree. The flavour of Amarula is of fruit and caramel, and it's very quaffable. It won a Gold at the 2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. There's also a majestic elephant on the label, and Amarula has its own trust (The Amarula Trust) that raises funds for conservation, safeguarding, and education projects, dedicated to elephant protection.
Creamy almond, nougat, hints of figs, digestive biscuit, and caramel.
Sweet and tropical with notes of guava, fig, vanilla, crème caramel, and allspice.
Long and very creamy. Hints of gingerbread.
We've enjoyed this for a few years but it's getting more difficult to find in our local supermarkets, so pleased to find it here. A nicer drink than Baileys in our opinion.
Bought this mainly for the vegans in the family to enjoy but everyone loves it.
