How to make The Snowball

The Snowball is the most 1970s cocktail ever and a drink that was once synonymous with the holiday season in the UK. Now The Snowball is making a comeback because it’s bloody delicious. The star ingredient is advocaat, a traditional Dutch liqueur made from a mixture of egg yolks, vanilla, sugar and alcohol. Here's our take on a recipe for the perfect Snowball cocktail!

Ingredients

25ml Fresh lime juice

150ml Lemonade

Method

Step 1

Shake the advocaat and lime juice in a shaker with ice, pour into an ice-filled highball glass, top up with lemonade and stir. Or you can serve it straight up in a coupe, just make sure you use chilled lemonade.

Step 2

Be sure to do a Noddy Holder-esque shout of: “It’s CHRISTMAS!!!!” every time you serve one.
