Southwestern Distillery's excellent Tarquin's Gin bottled at 57% abv! Orris root, green cardamom seeds, cinnamon and violets are all used and the gin is distilled in Tamara, their copper pot still named after the goddess of the Tamar.
Spicy juniper and cardamom with sweet, fragrant citrus and pine, sweet almond.
Fragrant and fresh, rounded notes from the nose, black pepper warmth.
Big, spicy and drying.

Personally, I love this in a nice dry martini with an olive. But you probably only need one; two at most. It's strong, but delicious.

Absolutely brilliant!! Not for the faint hearted though! Think of it as the Lagavulin of the Gin world. Needs a good tonic Elder-flower FT maybe with a couple of cubes of ice. Lovely.
On its own I would have to say no! Far too overpowering to pick up any of the botanicals used, but add some decent tonic and it's a different story... The Seadog needs taming to get it at its best!!!
Amazingly smooth considering the high abv. Lots of fresh citrus hence the milky look when added to tonic. Great in a negroni too
