A Navy strength variation of Rugby 1823 Dry Gin, which is produced in Rugby. However, while the original name was based on the year that the sport was invented, this one takes its name from the first year that the Army Navy rugby game was held – which the Navy one. A neat nod to rugby history!
Powerful juniper, with crackles of cubeb and peppercorn, plus a sweet flash of grapefruit.

Whilst at the Leamington Food Festival 2023, I discovered this and, following a small sample, immediately bought a 70cl bottle. I enjoy neat gin and this one is the most intense and peppery I've ever had. It is absolutely wonderful. Juniper volume at max and the finish just goes on and on. The balance of flavours is astounding and where the over strength really works to pull out every note. This is now by far my favourite Navy Gin.
