Mediterranean gin distilled in a thirteenth century chapel in an ancient fishing village where every bottle is unique as every year the star product, arbequina olive, changes acidity. Gin Mare is made with a variety of botanicals including rosemary, thyme, basil with lots of zest. This stuff can easily be paired with a vast range of foods and ingredients if you fancy it.
Herbal nose with berry fruits. Hints of soapiness and perfume.
Very herbal and aromatic palate. Perfume-like delivery. Coriander and tart juniper, citrus zest.

This is one of those heavily perfumed gins, but not in a good way. It has a peppery bite that is quite pervasive, and that, apparently, some people like a lot. I don't. It ruins a martini, and basically every cocktail you add it to. Well it may be suitable for a negroni, though I doubt it.
Its a high end extra extra dry martini in a bottle. All you need is a shaker. ;)
Different than regular gin. The rosemary and olives are dominant. I have it with sparkling water. Less calories and the tonic tends to hide the Mediterranean flavors. Add lemon juice to your taste (optional).

Was introduced to this gin at a boutique hotel bar in Berlin. I am not a gin drinker but this is fabulous! It was served with a sprig of rosemary. It was my drink of choice throughout my travels in Germany. Unfortunately I can not find it in the US.
