This intriguing treat is the delicious result of mixing Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin with Yarra Valley Shiraz grapes. What the Australian distillers did was steep the grapes in the gin for eight weeks, then pressed the grapes and blended it with yet more of their gin!
Lots of red fruit sweetness up front, though festive spice notes shine through.
Piney juniper, raspberry, plum, a pinch of peppercorn and just a smidge of citrus zest.
Earthy clove and spicy ginger, with lingering red berry.
Received a little free bottle with order - so nice I'm going to order a full size
Totally Incredible?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve seen this in Melbourne and was always slightly put off by the “Shiraz” - how can Shiraz and gin possibly go together? But fear not - having received a dram in my gin advent calendar I am now a firm convert. One of the best.
Awesome and absolutely fantastic just had a gorgeous meal and two large gins and tonic in the ivy Norfolk will cherish for ever
Unbloodybelievable! An outstanding gin suffering an identity crisis. It’s robust yet delicate, it’s deep flavoured yet smooth, it’s boastful yet humble. This should be awarded the worlds best gin! Add some Fever Tree lemon and it’s heaven in a glass! Bloody get some.
